Town of San Pedro

The most used form of transportation is golf carts... they are all over. Now remember, all over is not that big of a space! You see the water on the west side above and then you can see the lagoon 3 blocks away looking to the east.
San Pedro, not a big town. It is three blocks wide - you can see the lagoon behind the 4-wheeler

These pictures are looking north and south on the road next to the ocean. They are one-way streets and not very wide.
We caught the 10:00 boat to town and were there during lunch time. We bought some bbq chicken from a guy out the front of a bar...it was good. Came with a big flour tortilla, beans and coleslaw, plastic spoon...no napkins. No, Toyke didn't eat any...maybe next time!
There is a Super Buy, closest thing to Costco but nowhere like it but I actually prefer to shop with small hole-in-the-wall stores or the street vendors. The grapefruit this morning was really good!
We found a little off the road place for corn tortillas...huge bags of Maseca...Marco would be in heaven! We found out from the pool bartender that the blind guy pulling the wagon is selling tortillas also so I think we'll buy some from him next time. Ivan (bartender) said that he had in eyes ...damaged...by a maschette in a barfight, and it wasn't even his fight... He said that he can tell what amount of money you pay him so don't try telling him the $2 is a $100!
All in all...town was good. Besides groceries there isn't really anything I'm interested in buying...I did see a metal tortilla press thing but really, I think I have enough kitchen gadgets!
