More More Christmas!

There's a story about TJ's hammer...it's not just a hammer, it's a Woodie! The handle was broken and the head was all rusty but it was still his favorite. Dad took it to Ted at Pacific Building Center and it came back polished and handled! The owner of Douglas actually made two handles for him. TJ couldn't have been more pleased.

Christmas day has been fun as tradition dictates! Presents, food, snow, playing with toys and more food!

A New Kind of Jingle Bells!

This is a first...with the help of friend and now "running partner" Karen Pugmire, I entered the Jingle Bell Run. My first goal was to actually do it, you know, register. Second goal was to complete it. Third was to complete it by running the whole 4 miles, fourth to complete it in 52 minutes. Now I know that's not fast for all of you but I would have been happy with that! Karen came in ahead of me but I ran across the line at 47:07...almost 5 minutes ahead of my estimate so I was very happy... we'll see what the future brings as far as running goes.
